Default Fossils

Have never heard of a crappie fossil ever being found. Has anyone ever seen one in a museum, personal collection, et cetera?

Found some scientific info on a crappie fossil discovered many years ago. Hard for me understand the paleontologists' lingo but seems it was dated to be about 12 million years old and was found in Trego Co., Kansas.

Modern geologists and geophysicists consider the age of the Earth to be around 4.54 billion years (4.54×109 years).[1] This age has been determined by radiometric age dating of meteorite material[2] and is consistent with the ages of the oldest-known terrestrial and lunar samples.

This from Age of the Earth - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Now hold on a minute. I'm born and raised Southern Baptist, and I have never heard any of business about the earth being 5000 years old except from people who like to poke fun at Baptist based on unfounded preconceived notions about Baptist.

Didn't mean to open a can o' worms here...just curious if anyone has heard of or seen a crappie fossil. Seems like they're scarce.

It's kind of hard to do it but start out going backward 2008yrs.After that start with adam and add up age's of everyone in the old testament who begat someone up to the birth of Christ and you will come up with around 4000yrs.Add 4000 and 2008 and you have 6008yrs old.
