Default Stroke recovery

Hello guys, I have sent a message to soom personal friends about my recovery from a devastating stroke in April of this year. I do have a pal or two on here as well so I will post it for those that may be interested. I had surgery to remove a blockage on the other side Thursday. Praises to the Lord.

I am pleased to announce that all went pretty well, and I feel 10 times better than I have in a long time. The surgery makes me perfect (lol). The one thing that was amazing was that my blood presure that had been kept so low prior to the surgery (at one time 63/49) and make me feel so bad was actually causing kidney failure. They were talking about dialisis after the surgery for a short time. When I came off the bp meds. things pinked back up and I feel great. I want to thank each of you for your prayers and thoughts during this difficult time. I actually went to church Sunday and came in during the preachers announcements and he practicaly shouted at my presence. I also went to the prayer meeting at the Baptist church last night to thank them for what they meant to us during this time. I have a great number of friends there as well. I am suppose to take two weeks off work but I came on back for a little while on monday and will open the store from now on. Four days is enough time off for anybody. Again , thanks to all, Tim

Thumbs up Hey Buddy!

Man I'm so glad to hear things are look'n up! You've been in our prayers and sounds like the prayers are work'n!

You and I know you'll have good days and bad days on your way to total recovery but like my grandpaw used to say when I was have'n a bad day... "If we didn't have bad days every day would be just another day. God gives us bad days so we'll appreciate the good ones!" A wise man he was!

You keep plugg'n away at it, do what the lord and the doctors tell you to, and keep us posted!

God Bless,
Terry

Awesome! Are you completely recovered?

A few years ago I the ER doc said I had a mini-stroke. Vary scary stuff. I was paralized on one side of my body. Weird part was, it would come and go. Freaked the EMT's out, as well as me too. Had CAT Scans and MRIs that didn't turn up anything other than a spot from an old brain injury where I got whacked in the head by a baseball in little league. Turns out I have hemi-palegic migraines that get really ugly if I ignore the symptoms. Haven't had one since, at least the hemi-palegic variety.

I had lots of folks praying for me too. Doctors never could find anything and I walked out of the ER on my own two feet. I'm not discounting a miracle as all the tests, bith blood and sacns, said I was completely fine.

And we act like this Nightstalking thing is new.

For some excitment, read the next verse. A special guest arrived, they filled their coolers and had a fish fry on the beach...in the morning. My kind of people.- Bowfin
