    Default E-mail programs??

What is the best E-mail program these days? I've been using Windows Live for years but I think it is time for a change. Microsoft no longer supports it and the techs at Cox spt haven't even heard of it, well very few if any. I do like the calendar that comes with it so I can see what's coming up at a glance. Any recommendations?

I've been using Google mail since it began and have no problems what so ever with it. Now there are some that don't like it for many reasons but as far as simple and easy, to me it's tops.

I've got Windows Outlook as I used it for years when I was still working, and was familiar with it. It has email, calendar, tasks and contacts functions which are easy to use IMO, but I started using it a long time ago. It now costs about $100/yr, you can't just buy a "copy" of it and use it forever like days gone past. You "rent" it but the newer version is very similar to the earlier versions. Very low learning curve for me so that is why I stayed with Outlook.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

I used Outlook for years through work. Liked the many options calendars, etc. I use gmail now and so far no problems.
