Angry just say no to walmart

i was at wall mart today, i dont know why i go, i really really hate the company but i realy cant beat there prices trying to raise a family while being taxed to death. anyway i saw there 12 volt filiet knives on clearence for 11$ instead of 21 that they are. i get to the register to pay and they wanted to see my ID, yes i was carded for my purchase of electric knives, what were they thinking, i was going to chase someone down the road with an extention cord, well when i showed my ID i was told it had expired.i had to cause a seen in order to complete my purchase, in the future i WILL NOT give them any more of my hard earned money so they can build another w mart and exploit more of their "employee's". this was the very last straw never never never again.

but i did get a good deal

    Hey crappieday:

Hope you got a good knife. American Angler has had some problems with some of their blades. Check to see if the holes in the end that goes into the motor are oval and not round. If they are round the blades may pop out of the motor when the going gets tough. Also check to see if the cutting tips match up on the blades. If one side is shorter than the other they won't cut worth a flip. I wish they would go on sale here for $11 - I'd by several - now that I know what to look for to determine if they are OK or not.

I think the ID check is to keep kids from buying sharp knives that they could hurt themselves with - probably "CYA" liability thing. They do it here too.

I hate to say it but if walmart dont have it most of the time I dont have it.When you live on social security check you have to make the money go as far as you can.Im having the same problems with these mom and pop stores thats selling the same junk for a higher price. And being treated like crap.So what are we to do ???Its a sad world we live in today there is very few stores left that has respect for their customers. It just makes me sick when I have to go shoping.

Look on the bright side, it's better that Wally World discovered your expired license and not Johnnie Law....that would have been a really crappie day!!

Wal-Mart is the number 1 violator of intimate domain. What Wal-Mart wants it gets and not at fair market price. They have your officials condemn your property. Send the Supremes a lesson . Judge Sutters house must go…

If you ONLY shop at Walmart...eventually...you will ONLY have Walmart to shop in!!!

    Crappiday,

I just got back from WM. I had to get one of those knives. Only had one left. When the clerk ran up the knife, the computer displayed "Is the buyer 16" or something like that. She just entered through it and went on. I guess the balding and grey hair gave it away that I was at least 16. It may be that you just look young!! LOL

Thanks Moose. The one I got is the 12 volt with the external cord. The blades lined up perfectly. There are two sets of holes on the blades. A small hole near the end which is round and a bigger hole a little further back which is oval shaped. Hope I got the good one.
