I just read it LOL Can't say I am suprised.

I took a very well known midwestren TV guy hunting and he is a drunk. As soon as he came in from hunting each evening he would poor himself a duble shot and he didn't stop until he went to bed. But everyone thinks he's great on TV lol. Don't believe everything you see or hear on the TV set. Ron

First i've heard about this. Have enjoyed his shows for longer than I can remember, a fishing hero. Man I hate to see him get into this kind of thing BUT, he's a grown man and should have known what was going on. This high fence controversy has been going on for ever and personally think it would be like fishing in a barrel, not much sport. I'm sure most TV shows are staged somewhat for filming, but also have to say i've lost some respect for him for hunting caged deer. Never been a trophy hunter, and be danged if i'd pay 5 or 10 thousand to shoot one in a pen. Jimmy should have stuck to fishin...izzy

Go to texasfishingforum.com on the menu page on the news and announcements youll see his name click on it you will see lots of comments like these. you will also find his open letter response, after reading it I will give him the benefit of the doubt. If what he says is true he was dupped.

I personally know Jimmys son Jamie and Jimmie a little bit they are quality people and are very ethical people. Most likely Jimmy has left hisself open for a shot from the PETA people these radicals are constantly searching for a way to stop all animal usage from hunting and fishing to rodeo I have had first hand experience with these wacko's when they attacked the gamecock industry in Oklahoma as for many years I have raised gamefowl and will continue to untill they physcially come take them from me
