    Default Notice

If you will notice the board has a lot of deleted threads on it - for the most part I am tired of trying to cipher through all the garbage and determine if there is any personal attacks towards any members - Basically if the thread has more than one post that has personal attacks I am deleting the thread - if the thread starts of just bashing something with no message or is just plain negative it will more than liklely will get cut as well - I am tired of the mess and listening to adults bicker like children
with my mind on crappie and crappie on my mind -
and if ya'll see Goober later tellem I said duh huh - he'll know what ya mean!!!!!!!!

Thumbs up I don't blame ya CK

I'd gotten rid of the whole post idea long ago myself.

Some here just can't stand a fair and honest butt whuppin that got put on them.

We'll see who will behave themselves from here on out.:D

I think you do one heck of a job myself Crap-King. As I said yesterday in a post started by Ron that was deleted sometime last night It's up to us members to police ourselves and this great board and this is by far the best fishing board out there. The moderators or owner shouldn't have to be here 24/7.

We've all had fun(I know I have), nobodys mind was changed, some will lick their wounds for awhile but I'm ready to move forward if the rest are.

Heck our boat show started yesterday(had to work) and my oldest and myself are going out today to find him a decent fishing boat. Looking for a 17/18' with console, 24 volt trolling motor, around 90 4-stroke motor, depthfinder front and rear all aluminum boat. Looking at boats is something I really like doing especially when it isn't my money thats gonna be spent.

    Everyone have a great day.

    Default It's about time

THANK YOU CRAP-KING. It seems to me that some folks have lost sight of what this board is actually for. This is CRAPPIE.COM! It is not BUSH BASH.COM, DEMO/DUMMYCRATS.COM or BE AN IDIOT.COM. This is by far the BEST if not the ONLY crappie site worth visiting on the internet and I for one am tired of all the bulls**t I've seen here lately. There may be an Off-Topic board here, but I would think we would use it share stuff about our lives, our families, our passion for crappie fishing, our boats and some good stories. I'm sure there are more political forum sites out there than we can count and if somebody is full of enough attitude and anger to fill up this board, then I suggest going to a political discussion site and airing your views there. Maybe now I can visit the off topic forum without these asinine thread topics screaming at me and giving me a headache.

Now that is something in this off topic forum I can relate to. We had a little get-together yesterday and I got to see some very nice new boats owned by Panman, Squirrel Hunter and ReeFun. They were all very clean too. Isn't there a law against having a clean fishing boat? Oh well, mine is 23 years old so I figure its suppose to be dirty. LOL

Default Off Topic Forum Rules AGAIN for SOME FOLKS

Some Folks want to run everything. The very same Folks can't abide by simple rules.

You can talk about anything here, politics etc... Just no personal attacks please

The above is written right under the link to the offtopic forum.

When folks enter the offtopic forum there is a sticky that reads.

In an effort to ensure that “friendliness prevails over everything else” on the Crappie.com OT message board, no personal attacks or even negative connotations towards others will be tolerated whatsoever. This is not a threat, this simply will be the new guidelines used by our wonderful new moderator (crap-king) and myself. So, in other words, do not be surprised if your post is edited or deleted. It may even happen by accident. Do not be offended. We’re just trying to preserve the intention and spirit of the site.

So, with that in mind, your posts may be edited or deleted at the drop of a hat, if you post anything that even mildly smells like, or barely resembles a personal attack or negative connotation towards another. We will not debate what we’ve done, although we may or may not provide an explanation. Thanks all, you’re a great bunch and I hate for differing opinions to create enemies.

"You only live once, there's no reason to make enemies, when you can make friends instead." Edhead

    There I’ve said it again
