Default Tug Boat hits oil well in Louisiana, Oil spewing out now

Oil spews from LA oil well struck by tow boat | thetowntalk.com | The Town Talk

Just thought it was ironic that this happened in the middle of all the hoopla surrounding the BP leak. From what I can gather the oil well is spewing oil into the water right now but they aren't sure how much. I think it will be fixed a lot easier than the BP one because its in shallow waters.

Just goes to show that they need a solid plan or emergency team in place for future accidents like these.

Just keeps getting worse. From what I read in the article it's considered a well known wet land so why the heck is an oil well in it???

Nobody care about the environment! Its all about the easy buck these days... Makes me sick to my stomach....
Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.

I guess they need a FEMA for oil spills maybe they could call it OSEMA. Oil Spill Emergency Management Agency.

why isnt the media going into a frenzy about it? how come nobody is pointing fingers and playing the blame game? how come law suits are not being threatened? why is somebody letting this crisis go to waste? is it still my patriotic duty to spend my vacation dollars at the Gulf coast?
