Hows about ken lay and jeff skilling who stoled millions of dollars from stock holders and screwed people out of their pensions. This lady lost a son in dumbya's great adventure. I'd say you feel the same if you lost a child in this war dumbya had to have.
What she's doing doesn't affect anyones life, what dumbya is doing does. Big difference HuH?:D

Well less see. My youngest son Shane is in the Army in Iraq right now. And if you would bother to read anything but garbage you might find out that over 97 percent of our troops support the president and the war. Go Figure. Funny how most of the news media never say anything about that? It is also very funny that her son was on his "SECOND" inlistment when he was killed. I wonder why he reinlisted? He is a hero his mother is nothing more than a pawn for the far left.
If you don't like what I am posting don't read it. Just like you are telling all the others on this site remember?

Kamper, this is a volunteer army. That means that the soldiers "VOLUNTEERED". Is it strange that in this day and age that some people care enough to serve? You need better news sites.

Let me spell it out for you!
If you would read the article you would know that it was the PENTAGON that filed that report.
There are guys serving (drafted) today that were already out of the army. Some are 50 years old. They got called back (drafted) as they had special skills. I'll bet that those guys would take issue with you calling them Volunteers.
Sure some guys volunteered before Bush sent up to war. Hell they never thought we would have a crazy president that would start WWIII before they served and got out with the GI bill. Most of them that signed up recently are poor and uneducated. Remeber the "Cheap Labor Conservative" catch phrase as it applies here. Down and out, living on hotdogs and dog food well, join the military and see the world. They didn't tell them poor kids that they would have to stand on the street corner in Baghdad Iraq and get shot in the back. They didn't tell them about unarmored Humvees and improvised explosive devices that can take out an Ambram Tank.
Read the article and you will find that the problem with today's army is that they can't get those so called Volunteers like they did in the past.
Read the pentagon's own report.

This lady is a complete moron!!! If I was over there and died, and my mom did something like that, I'd ask god if he could hit her with a bolt of lightning or something to knock some sense into her. I think thats would just about be the most dishonorable thing a parent could do to a fallen son or doughter in the military. That is a complete embarassment on his part. here he is in the middle of some camel filled desert sweatin his balls off trying to deal with a bunch of angry stinky iraqis all day long and he gets killed... So his mom tries to end the cause that he was fighting to accomplish, thats like making her son die for nothing!!!
Anyways...

Hey, I'll be over there in a little over 2 years, and I tell you what, there is absolutely nothing that will discourage me from joining. The United States could be up against the rest of the world, and I will give my duty to protect her. I dont care where they send me or what the challenge is ads long as I am able to help out. They could hold information about where im going until the minute before I go and I wont care... No matter what the task, I'll do the absolute best I possibly can to overcome it... And i dont wanna die not because of it being the fact that your dead, I wont wanna die only so I can keep fighting until it is all over and done with. I'll be 17 in about 5 months, so Im not old enough to enlist yet, but you dont know how bad I wish I was over there so i can do my part to help out. I think about it every day, i just wish there was something I could do. But I gatta wait 1 1/2 long years before I can even get anything started...
Dont be quick to judge, Im sure that everyone who has joined the service has thought long and hard about it, its not a descision you make in a day. You consider all of the risks and sacrifices way ahead of time. They know what their doing and why their there.
And why do you exagurate so much? this is no where near WW3. I find it sad that you have fallen into the trap of the media making this war 100 times worse than it really is, remember, those wackos will do anything and anything just to get their stupid ratings up, even if it means screwing up everyones ideas in different issues. Of corse, the midia says "OH MY GOD!!! 2,000 SOLDIES ARE DEAD ALREADY!!!" Yes, I know, 2,000 lifes lost is horrible, but everyone needs to spot fricken whinning and get it together. 2,000 is nothing compared to other wars. The United States lost 300,000 americans in ww2!!! 300 thousand!!! But of cause back then you didnt have the insane media we do today, letting the country know of every single casualty on national news. God, you dont know how much i hate those news people... They have a huge negative influence on our country, and i think its sadly basically screwing our country. ehhh I dont feel like saying anymore...
Stop Global Whinning!

Tony you are the man. Cause some people dont get it, they assume no one gets it

Here is the short version for you Tony
Andrew Krepinevich, a retired Army officer who wrote the report under a Pentagon contract, concluded that the Army cannot sustain the pace of troop deployments to Iraq long enough to break the back of the insurgency.
Just in case you didn't read the link I provided I shorted it for you. see above. This is what the Pentagon is reporting. The Pentagon... you know..your future boss.
