Mac computers & Eagle/Garmin
I have had a Mac-Mini for about 6 months and I love it, had a PC. Have Comcast Hi-Speed, never go back to dial-up. I can turn it on in the morning and go plug in the coffee pot, put stuff in the cups and come back in the den and it is booted up. However I do have a big grip toward Eagle/Lowrance/Garmin as far as us Mac users. They have made NO provisions for us to download or run emulators etc. for us Mac users. I have a Garmin GPS that has a up-date, can't do it on my Mac and I just bought a FishMark 480 and would love to play around with the emulator and learn something while the weather is too bad to fish. I did get about 1 1/2 hrs. on the lake Sat. and boy is that thing got sensitivity over my old Ultra III. I was running 2 jigs each on 4 poles out the front and they almost blacked out the screen. Going to have to play around with it, wish I coild use the emulator. I will play with the sense the next time out. Any tips on the gray line? Sorry about the vent, sent an e-mail to both a couple of weeks ago but of course no reply.
