I have been searching for a new fishing boat for myself and found this one.
2005 Bass Tracker Tournament V18
I sent them an email;
'I would like some more info on the boat you have listed here.
Could you send me more pics of it?
I live in the Cincinnati area and could drive up to see it. Is there a time on Wednesday or Thursday that would be good for you?'
Thanks,
Kevin
Their response was;
Hello, I’m Roy,
The 05 Bass Tracker Tournament V18 Mercury 150hp is still for sale.This is a 2005 Bass Tracker Tournament V 18 bank repossession. This clean bass boat is powered by a 150 Mercury XR6!! The boat starts and runs PERFECT!! The Compressions on the motor has been checked and its 120 on every cylinder!! Everything you see is included. The title is clear and on my name. I know it's really cheap but we need cash money to pay the mortgage on my house and during this financial crisis you can't sell anything for its real value. I will put the boat on eBay at $4,200 Buy It Now! That way you will receive assistance for the purchase, paperwork, title transfer, because I'm an eBay member from 2002 and I have 100% positive feedback. Here are some pictures with my boat that I have for sale: Picasa Web Albums - wolferoy.leroy656 - 2005 Bass Tra...
. Reply me you are still interested!
Thank you – Roy W.
I am at work right now and the internet police will not let me go to see the rest of the pics. But THIS SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.
Opinions please.

Anything that sounds too good to be true usually is. But if you can see it in person and see the correct paperwork, who knows, you might get lucky.
I remember seeing this same add for the same boat here in kansas about 1 week ago, saying it was a bank repo. I tried to find it again but was not able to. SCAM!!!![]()
If it sounds to good to be true well you know thre rest. I would not send a dime without seeing the boat and knowing the title status
Its a scam i got same letter back from the dude when i told him i could be there in 10 minutes with 5 grand cash. he told me the same thing to buy it off e-bay.
I have seen that add no less than 5 times, each time its removed for being a scam
That ad was fishing (phishing) for email addresses. Sorry to say it, but it looks like he caught one.
"Hello, My name is Bill, and I'm a tackleholic"
I figured I couldn't get this lucky. I flagged the post and sent an e-mail to CL.
So, the search for my new boat continues...
Thanks for the advice.
