I agree with you. But also would like to state that if you decide to wait until you are sick to try and buy insurance, no insurance company should be forced to cover you. Giving insurance to people with preexisting conditions shouldn't apply to people who chose not to carry medical insurance when healthy, then want to buy it when sick. Kinda like buying home insurance while your house is on fire. I do believe we need to help people with preexisting conditions, but only those that tried to help themselves first.

Regardless if the bill pasts or not us taxpayers have been paying for the uninsured peoples healthcare so honestly i dont see what the difference will be besides making the people who dont have it get it and giving it to those who can't. You guys would be suprised that not every person who cant afford healthcare isnt lazy, some just plain cant afford it. Myself thank god i can afford it even so im paying over 375 dollars a month for insurance. Someone making a lower income would have no chance at affording this atm.
I have no problem with helping those in need. From what I understand, we have about 30 million folks with no health insurance. Now a certain percentage of those, choose so, because they don't want to pay for it, not that they can't afford it. So let's consider the others, does it take a healthcare bill that's what, 1000, 2000 pages long that could affect every American to get those others covered? This bill has so much BS in it nobody knows what says. One little special interest perk after another. It's take it or leave it as it is. Well most Americans are saying leave it! A very select few in the Democratic party, including the President are pushing this bill to satisfy their own agenda.
Here's a simple solution. Post the bill as it stands now, give the American people until the Nov elections to read and understand it, then put it on a referendum vote this Nov so every American can vote whether it passes or fails. Why is it Pelosi, Ried and the president want this shoved thru so soon? Why because when folks realize what's in it, they'll be furious!

Yea and on page 1001 it says their going to implant us with microchips to control miss uses of health care. This is no BS I listen to it being read from the BILL itself. This Bill has more to do with control than it does with health care!
Oh well if they catch me, they still have to shoot me to put it in :D
