Its too late, you guys already screwed the pooch on this one. The original bill for healthcare had some good points in it and i think would of been a good thing since America is the only developed nation with privately run healthcare. The bill now has been so changed and filled with so much crap to appease people here and there it will be a mess, but as you can see its gonna get forced through somehow. I dont see one bit how having insurance from the government is losing any of our rights, except our right to get screwed by groups such as Blue cross and Blue shield who continually raise premiums and cancel insurance policies when you do get sick. It might not be the best option available but no matter what republicans with there scare tactics would make it seem like we all will be in a gulag somewhere breaking rocks.

I have even seen one senator compare this to the Velvet Revolution which is retarded comparing a countries protest and freedom of being in a communist bloc for 50 years to a fight over government health care that every other democratic nation has.

I actually do see people losing 1 right... the right to disagree with a republican without being called, a marxist, communist, anti american, socialist, traitor, terrorist, etc

Regardless if the bill pasts or not us taxpayers have been paying for the uninsured peoples healthcare so honestly i dont see what the difference will be besides making the people who dont have it get it and giving it to those who can't. You guys would be suprised that not every person who cant afford healthcare isnt lazy, some just plain cant afford it. Myself thank god i can afford it even so im paying over 375 dollars a month for insurance. Someone making a lower income would have no chance at affording this atm.

This is one of the problems that even the government is having, instead of having a meaningful dialogue about the situation and try to find a reasonable answer to these problems, people would rather resort to name calling and making jabs at people instead of making a feasable point, and this goes for both democrats and republicans. Both sides would rather argue and use scare tactics, name calling, threats, and abuse there power instead of just talking about it and reaching a middle ground that most people can be happy with.

Actually we were sold steak, but over the last year they have turned it from a nice Ribeye into ground beef to get it passed since some people had in issue chewing a good piece of meat.
