If it happens, it will happen because Obama signs an executive order. From the article:

"Consequently, unless anglers speak up and convince their Congressional representatives to stop this bureaucratic freight train, it appears that the task force will issue a final report for "marine spatial planning" by late March, with President Barack Obama then issuing an Executive Order to implement its recommendations — whatever they may be...."

The article also mentions this NY Times article:

"WASHINGTON — With much of his legislative agenda stalled in Congress, President Obama and his team are preparing an array of actions using his executive power to advance energy, environmental, fiscal and other domestic policy priorities...."

"... in the aftermath of a special election in Massachusetts that cost Democrats unilateral control of the Senate, the White House is getting ready to act on its own in the face of partisan gridlock heading into the midterm campaign."

I looked at the ESPN article. It is written to be an inflamatory piece: all smoke, no heat. The article does not mention any specific plans to limit or restrict any types of fishing. The article says that a task force is going to propose some action, but the article admits that there is no certainty about what the actions are, including using the phrase "whatever they may be."

Both the title of the article "Obama moving to limit fishing access" and the title of this post "Obama wanting to ban fishing" are political statements that do not reflect what is actually happening or what is going to effect us. No movement has been made, no proposal is on the table, and certainly no ban is being lobbied for.

Ask yourself, "Should there be absolutely no limits on fishing harvesting?" No creel limits, no size limits, no method limits. Do you support fishing with cyanide or dynamite? I think that there should be some limits, and I agree with the process of trying to figure out what the best set of limits is.

that Obama wants to ban..........Russ was giving examples
but a lady in front of me made for bad driver..........so I didnt get to hear it all
