Well I guess that would be me to an extent, some how. But was defending my right to free speech, and to religious freedom. Never would I laugh at one who believes, or does not believe. That is a choice that each of us makes. But do not assume things of someone, without truly not knowing them.
Never will I push my belief on someone else. Am an open minded person, even to the extent of my relationship with God.
About the same time that the Christian post was on this board, another board I belong to, that is about fishing also, there was started an off topic board made, called "On Human Affairs" From one post on the main forum of it, and a few shared, it was decided to move it and make this new topic area. We are discussing religion there, and that board is thriving without any vindictiveness from anyone. But it is hoped that other things will be shared also there.
Just as there is 2 sides to every coin, there is 2 sides to each of us who post here. One seen and the other not seen. I would love to share of that other side too, but guess that it will never truly happen here.
Will stay on here for a bit, but at some point may leave. I want both sides of my coin nourished of both things from heaven, and from what is learned here on earth.

I have failed to see the importance of everyone's opinion on all the world topics being discussed on this forum lately. Unless they are as shallow as they can get, I don't think anyone has ever had their minds, opinions, beliefs, or philosophies changed by a discussion or an arguement over the internet, I know I haven't. I don't care what everyone else's beliefs are and would hope no one would base their beliefs on mine. I think we need to ignore these trouble making threads instead of thinking we need to defend something, cause none of us are gaining anything except the trouble makers that are thriving on the chaos. I've been guilty of jumping in and defending things on here, to no avail. I'm going to refrain from it from now on. In case you're wondering, I'm a Christian, Republican, American, backwoods, hard headed crappie fisherman. SO WHAT!! WHO CARES!! Let's talk about FISHING, KIDS, FAMILIES, SOMETHING INTERESTING & FUN, OR OTHER CRAPPIE FISHERMAN AND FRIENDS!!!!!!

Think maybe the best thing to do is ignore the pot stirrers and not respond. Seems to me all they want is to get something going that is upsetting to most folks. If no one answers maybe they will go away.

Finally someone on here gets it. This is the Internet there is always a idiot out there who thrives on ruining anything that is good. That is why when it gets off topic in a post like the Christian one did I dont dare step in and argue. I do most of my arguing Face to Face anyways. That way I have other outs than typing lol. Some people dont beleive there is a God some do but the question was how many Christians do we have in here in this forum. I knew when I read it that it was gonna get out of control. I am not saying that it was wrong and I would have probraly responded but then the s--t slinging started and I backed off. LOL how the heck did politics get started? Is it cause Bush proclaims to be a Christian? I dont talk about ppl at all. I learned early in life that what you say to a person he or she could remember it till he or she dies so if I aint got something good to say I usually dont say a word. I'm glad to see that most have come up with the right solution for a troublemaker. If he wants to stir the "honeybucket" let him do it alone, anything you post to him, the more he enjoys it. Just let him sit there and stir, and only he will be smelling the stink. Just don't reply to him! He'll get the message.
