Thumbs down My head hurts

Two days ago I met a local boat manufacturer to "test drive" one of their new center console boats. I run it hard and give it a workout. I am really impressed overall with the boat. So, yesterday I go to the factory to talk to "the man" about getting one built and talking about custom work, goodies, add ons and most importantly price. I get to the factory and meet this guy, now I am a backwoods country rascal, but this guy just fell out of the movie Deliverance. I get to talking to him, telling him what I want. Seems that they only made 3 boats with the center console out of old boat hulls that they had bought from god knows where and that the actual molds would be there sometime between christmas and late summer. Plus, the guy tells me that they don't even have all the parts to rig a center console. HHHHmmmmmmm,"But you have it on your website as being for sale?" Oh , we already sold all of those. Not much interest in those around here . We aren't into full scale production of those yet. A big waste of time and gas for me. Tried to buy local, bit me in the butt. The search continues.

I know you have to be itching for that new boat. I know I would be ,though, I know me too well, I would buy the first thing I liked. He didn't comment on having purdy lips or anything like that did he?

Fatboy really shop around, and make sure you get what you want and get a good one. I did like fishingpox said, I bought the first one I thought I liked. It turned out to be a mistake. Nothing major wrong with it, just alot of little things. I didnt have alot of choices with my space restrictions, just might have been better off going with something a little cheaper.

Don't worry Eric, I am doing my homework right now. One thing I will do when I get this big new boat is remember all the people I took out who didn't have a boat, but once they got one, they didn't remember me. Guess that is life.

Hey J have you tried Jaco Marines? One of my buddies bought a boat over there. They have blemished boats usually one of the lines is not just right. You have to search to find some of them. They have a web page if you want to try them. Over in lower mid Tn I believe.
