Default Awesome Deer!!

I've never seen a deer with that much spread, except for some of the old records deer. It was taken in GA, and there are no details to be had, but the pic speaks for itself!! Just check out those brush hooks...... And the width of the antlers are almost 1/2 the width of the truck bed!

That doesn't look like a GA tag. The county looks like it says Athens. There's not Athens county in Georia, but there is one in Ohio and that's what the plate looks more like too.

No matter what, that's a heck of a deer!

That is a huge rack

I am not one of those "that picture has been doctored", but that doens't even look real it is so big. You would think a deer with that kind of rack would have a neck the same size as his rump. Man, that rack alone must weigh 80 pounds.

We have huge deer where i work. There is alot of property and it is all fenced in. It is a foreign trade zone, so no hunting has been allowed there in the past. They are doing a controlled bow hunt this year. I dont hunt, but I cant wait to see what comes out of there. I have seen some MONSTERS in there.

Exactly what does "foreign trade zone" mean? I see a sign like that at the entrance to a business park near here. I probably work in one, everything we get in now is made in China, Phillipines, Vietnam, Indonesia, etc... Oh, nice deer too!

bhodges......after blowing it up, I can see it's "Athens." Here's the reason I indicated it was taken in GA....

Many folks go to different states to hunt, myself also. There's nothing to say that someone from another state couldn't have gotten a GA tag and hunted there. It's truly a huge deer, and that's really my only interest in it. Do you have reason suspect it's a fake?

XMAN, your right, how did you know where I work? NISSAN is a Japanese owned company, so therefore it is a foreign trade. XMAN have you seen those huge deer in there?

....hawkman; used to work in RTP...it is FTZ...what it boils down to is that the companies get massive tax breaks and incentives to locate there..probably some other stuff too..just another way for states to attract business to their area....

If that's a photochop, it's a good one. The shadows line up pretty well and I don't see any blurred edges.

For some excitment, read the next verse. A special guest arrived, they filled their coolers and had a fish fry on the beach...in the morning. My kind of people.- Bowfin
