This is Abigail, she's 7 weeks old, weighed almost eight pounds and is always hungry. I spent my first quality time with her on Thanksgiving day. This is my first grandbaby by my son Dustin, the other two by my daughter, who is two years older than my son. Abigail is very active and in great health, thank God. There is something exceptional in holding your newborn grandchild, I couldn't make myself put her back in the crib. It's almost a mutual link between the two of us, almost tangible......like a warmth in your heart when our eyes meet. Yeah, I know I've got it bad, but I'm gonna hold on to it. She's my investment in the future, and a beautiful one at that!
Congratulations. Shes beautiful. Fantastic head of hair. I bet you won't quit grinning for a long time. I have two grand daughters so I know how you feel.
Congrats Bill. It is obvious your a proud grandpa and rightfully so. Take care of the little one and I think a rod and reel for her first birthday should steer her in the right direction in life. FATBOY
