Default Where'd you get your name?

I saw where Whizkids posted about a thread that let everyone explain where their user name came from. I tried to add mine but it wouldn't let me. Here's a new one for us newer members.

Mo'nBack came from my late grandpa. When I was around 12 and he was teaching me to drive, he would get me to back the boat down the ramp. He would stand where I could see him in the mirror and holler "Mo'nback--Mo'nback--Mo'nback" while waving his arm in a big circle. Everytime; I would look into the passenger mirror and the boat would be off the ramp and going out thru the woods. He never told me to go right or left, just Mo'nback.

He was the greatest and best friend I've ever had!!

I'm glad you posted that Mo'n back. I was pronouncing in Mo in back....lol. thinking that there was a Missouri connection there.

I missed the last thread too so here's mine. Pretty simple....I go by my middle name which is Scott, last name Medley.

Yea I mispelled it when I started on here, but just left it alone. Actually pronounced Moan-back. Might should be 'monback or c'monback. Oh well.

Default Deacon

I am an ordained Permanent Deacon for the Diocese of Lafayette, Louisiana.
When I first signed on I did not realize that the name we put in would become our handle so to speak. I thought it was just a password or something. Just decided to keep it as I wrote it.

A few years ago I was sitting at the desk looking out the window and 2 stray hounds (black and tan / beagle). I try finding the owners and spread the word about having them. I was think of getting back in to coonhunting. I then joined a message board on coonhunting and used the name Stray and have been using it sense.
