Default Veterans Day

Today, our high school is doing our Veterans Day program. The band, choir, and whole student body honors local Veterans with an hour long program.

I would like to take the time to personally thank all of you who have served our country by putting your lives on the line in the armed forces. To have someone I don't know or have never met protecting my rights and the safety of my family is beyond words. My feeble mind cannot begin to thank you enough. Every citizen of the United States, and most countries of the world owe you more than we can give. Thank you for your selfless acts of courage and your willingness to put others ahead of yourself.

Thank you veterans

May God Bless you all

Hearing that makes it all worthwhile. I can only speak for myself but I don't think many
vets want an undue amount of notoriety & fuss. What you said goes a long way and
to turn the tables it's people like you that put the satisfaction in serving or having served. I don't see alot of talk about that in general from vets but maybe it is a
personal thing or maybe it just goes without saying. Even though I am like most anyone in being opinionated and having gripes about the military- how it's run, why
certain actions are taken, flaws in it,..................I can honestly say that in a life
full of highs & lows my time in the service of the country stands out far & wide the
most satisfying, proudest in a unique way, thing I have ever done. By far. And I
expect that will not change as it has been almost 30 yrs since getting discharged.
God Bless America.

God bless America. I suspect most vets feel as I do, it was worth it. We are now at war again, so support our troops where ever they may be. I pray that our politicians will put aside their bickering and try to win this one. Thanks, David.
