Default can someone clear this up for me

i am in no way an expert on any topic, therfore i'm not skeert to ask a stupid question. So, on Nov. 7 the House of Rep. voted on and passed the healthcare bill 220-215 or something like that and is to be voted on by the Senate at a later date, can somebody tell me how the Senate Dems can go behind closed doors and unviel a new healthcare bill on Nov. 19? Either i'm ignorant or confused or both but i would like to know how they can change something that has already been voted on.

This is the way it generally works. The House passed their bill, and now the Senate is working on theirs. The final bill will be worked out between the two houses and will be a mishmash of the two bills.

I'm hoping, though, that the Senate bill will not even make it to the floor. There are a handful of Democrats (Landrieu, Nelson, Bayh, Leiberman, etc.) that hold its fate in their hands.

Yeah, Mary Landrieu sold her vote for $100 million:

    That's how legislation gets made.

Rewards for playing hard to get. Who says money don't buy love? Just shows how underhanded the government really works. They are all a bunch of nosegays.

It's bribery, no matter how it's worded in the legislation. It's just another example of the corruption that's been going on for way too long. The thing is, now they don't seem to care how obvious it is. Y'all know ole Dirty Harry and Landrieu are hooking up to campaign frundraisers in LA also.

I'm just trying to keep my head from exploding before next November's elections. I sincerely hope that the tide will begin to turn.

You got that right ... Example on telling us that Distict 84 in Fl got so much Stimulas money and we do not have that many Distircts and I think it has happened in some other states ..... Call their hand and they keep on with there lies ..... I have gotten to where I do not trust how the votes are counted in some places ...

Bad news and I hope we can get some of them voted out as soon as possible
