Let's hope the rest of the country can keep up that momentum.

When Fox called the NJ race for Christie, I just about jumped out of my chair. I switched over to CNN, and they called it for him about five minutes later. Then, I switched over to MSNBC to see if Olbermann was in tears. :D

Too bad Hoffman lost in NY, but the two governorships made my day.

Are you kidding me? I had to be picked up off the floor by our fire dept last night. THE BIG win is for all conservatives, Maine says a unanimous NO to gay marriage. Bloomberg runs NYC, Virgina and Jersey- sweep. We're living great days people but the work has only just begun. 2010 and 2012, I hope we see tarred and feathered socialist running for their lives.

HAHA 2 governors races and you people wet yourself. Lets hear again how Bimbo Palin and Sir Rush did in the real race up in NY for congress. OH yeah they lost a seat that had been republican for 150 years.

You're actually comparing two governorships to one congressional district? That's ridiculous. There is no comparison. NJ is a super blue state with an incumbent Democratic governor. VA has an outgoing Democratic governor, and Obama won big there.

Yep! Once again, the people have spoken on this issue. Funny how they always reach the same conclusion, huh?

Let's see... The so called Republican candidate had received almost a million dollars from the Republican Party and the endorsement of the Republican Party. Then when she saw she could not win against the independent Conservative Hoffman, she endorsed the Democrat, who had also received a great deal of financial backing from his party. So you you have a guy who nobody knew about prior to the election, and had little financial backing, almost pull off a victory against a candidate who had the backing of BOTH political parties. Maybe he could not beat BOTH parties, but he came close. Should be a wake up call to the Republicans AND the Democrats.

OMG- this is about so much more than just 2 governors. When a sweep takes place in formerly blue and purple states, it's a ref job on the socialist who didn't even bother watching the polls last night, because that dithering narcissist was watching something on HBO about himself. All things considered, yeah, it's call for some hooting and howling.
