All of the years of recreational fishermen demonizing the methods used by commercial fishermen is finally coming back to bite them in the a$$. This was evidenced even in this article as you can read. Fishermen need to stick together on this issue and not allow themselves to be polarized by peta type hype aimed at commercial fishermen. This is a big deal at the coast right now because of spot season being in and all the gill nets annoying the rec guys. Remember, when you beg the government to come in and regulate, you may just get what you want
