Default If you could change one thing about your tow vehicle.

If you could change one thing about your tow vehicle, what would it be? Personally, since my truck sits so low, I would like to have it raised about 4". That way my boat would ride level on the trailer. I have to use a drop hitch turned upside down to get things straight and level.
What would you do to yours to make it better???

Well, sometimes I wish mine was a little quieter - most of the time I love
the racket (old model diesel clatter) but if I have to crank up in a campground
early in the morning I get a little embarrased sometimes.

And maaaaaybe an automatic trans. I've never owned anything in a truck except
manuals, but it gets a little old launching and loading by yourself with a
stick - I'm not gonna trust the park brake, so it means shutting it down and
cranking it on the ramp twice each trip.

But nah, I'll stick with it awhile longer

Add 4wd, tranny cooler, rod rack on the front with hitch reciever, rhino lining interior so spilling chili cheese fries wont be a problem, kayak carrier, jack up the height a little bit, and maybe extra seating space if I have to haul drunken crew back to their homes. I can go to the OBX, use the boat ramp at the dam, etc. Have both the cake and ice cream plus the chili cheese fries too

I'd have AC and a door out the cab into the bed so I could get to the boat without climbing over the side of the truck

Older 12v Dodge diesel here. Only thing I would change is having one more gear on top. 70mph @ 1650 rpm would be nice.
