Windows 7?
Anybody using windows 7? I have a few map programs that don't work well with Vista.
My understanding is that Windows 7 is a link between the 2 OS (XP and Vista). My understanding is also useless.
Would like to get some input on Windows 7.
Thanks
Tom

I have played some with it, not a lot. Seems better than Vista to me. Havent't given it much real evaluation however.

I'm good friends with a tech guy, and have a few techies at work, all said the same thing. Better than Vista/XP to be released in the fall. They also say, windows sucks.
I say.....
We hear this year after year, and like lemmings we keep believing Microsoft. and like lemmings we keep scouring the web for patches and service packs bug fixes and the like, we spare no expense on the next great release of Windcrap, that requires repeated activations for every little change. Better have a monster hard drive, because Xp service packs already exceed 1 gig, and we're up to Sp3 , or 4 now?
I switched to Linux last week, because I can't take this insanity anymore. Microsoft is like the US gov. back 1875... broken promises and treaties. Linux Mint, is a drop in replacement for Windjunk, twice as fast and twice as stable. Price? Free.
