Will the Omaba Health Care package be just like the VA benifits . We Vets wait sometimes months for certain treatments. CT-MRI-etc Not bad coverage the doctors are good ,,it's the other people that don't care, they work hard trying to get out of work. comments Welcome

Can't say much because I was denied VA benefits......Served 6 years, 4 active & 2 inactive...Reason was because I had benefits through the company I worked for...I was not told these things when I enlisted..

That P's me off and I am not a veteran.

But there is more concern our legislatures are causing me. This one is just E V I L. Page 425 on the new Health Care Bill states that all of those on Social Security will go through "End of Life Counseling". This counseling will teach us how to starve and dehydrate ourselves. They are going to teach us SUICIDE!!!!

Funny this came up. I just read today that the Canadians are leaving Canada to go get transplants done elsewhere (at their expense), because they virtually die waiting in line using the Govt program. And I can't for the life of me figure out what the rush is on this matter. I personally have met about 3 people in 20 years who didn't have health insurance of some kind.

Like every thing else there is good and bad ... With the VA I try to use the good and hope I don't have to use the bad ... have had excellent Doctors .. But basicly it is a Government Buracacy (SP) .. and has some "Draggin Spots" in it (paper work & etc.) ... if you need some thing before your next appointment it takes a while ... Dermatologist gave me a Rx for some high price stuff (600.00 for 20 applications) course in shopping around I called the VA and would have taken over 30 days to get an appointment to see if I could get the Rx thru the VA (not sure they would have it available) .

Can you imagine what a national health care would be ??? Another Buracacy (SP) ...

The Blood Work and getting my everday Rx's has been excellent ... But ...

That's another reason to oppose US government-run health care: it's not fair to the Canadians who flee their government-run health care. :D

Mine is also against it ... Thank Goodness ... Jeff Miller (R) ... The one next to us is for it at the present .... Allen Boyd (D) ....

Does any one know where these Poloticains get to be such experts on any subject that comes up ?? Now just how can they have enough knowaldge about the entire Health Industry (as for as that goes any industry) to write a bill to run it .... NO WAY .... Just another take over and Socialist Movement.
