training day pictures

Will be Utility testing two of my GSP's in 2 weeks.
The Utility test is the highest test level in NAVHDA (North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association) before moving on to the invitational.
Part of the Utility test is the duck search, which is what we were training for yesterday.

Hogan just loves to find those ducks.
Had a beautiful day for dog training.

Then we worked with Phoenix.
In the one picture you can barely see her swimming up to the far bank.

It is a live duck, but one of it's wings was taped down.
Idea is to simulate a wounded duck.
