Filleted, and glassed the keelsons, then primed and painted.
Time to turn it back over, complete the wiring, then glass and paint the top deck.
Should be ready for duck season this Fall.

Looks good, waitin to see the "inside"
How is your pup doing?
Ha, Ha, Ha, which one?
We have a 7 month old German Wirehair and we just picked up another GSP pup that is now 9 weeks. Both pups are doing great and getting lots of exposure to birds.
We definately have a kennel full. 4 German Shorthairs, an English pointer and a German Wirehair.
Our lives would be pretty boring without the dogs![]()

Show a pic of it rightside up please. I use to build 8' X 4' flat bottoms everywhere I got stationed while in the service. Would just run a old 3.9 Firestone on it. What horsepower do you think you can rate it for and how thick is the transom?
Dusty
A gun in hand is a lot better than a cop on the phone.
Dusty that good old 3.9 was one of the best motors going ... had 2 of them.
They were made by Scott Atwater ... both of them that I had were Wizards branded (Western Auto) ... The first one was in the trunk of a car I turned over and it broke the speed lever .. by the time I made a few re engineered repairs it would fly ,,, about 25% increase in speed on a 12 foot Aluminum . I was in the AF when I got the 1st one ...
Brought back some memories with that one.
Hogan that looks great ... Like to see the inside of it as well.

Nice work Hogan!! That's gonna be one fine looking boat!
Now for the quote from centerdriver: you hit the button mentioning Firestone!
Dad bought a 3.6HP Firestone from our local Firestone dealer in 1946. It was
a display motor from the Chicago boat show, he paid 75 dollars for it with the stand. He used it on a 16 foot rental boat every summer on vacation.
He used it until 1965, then gave it to me. :D I used it on Canadian canoe trips
as well as local lakes until 1996. It was a one lunger, used only white gas in
it. The ONLY thing I ever replaced in fifty years was a few sparkplugs. I even
had the owners manual when I sold it a few years ago for 475.00! Now there
my friends was a product of American craftsmanship and durability!!!!!![]()
