    Default BBQ Sauces???

Anybody want to share their BBQ sauce recipe?????????

I have tried some but either sweet or hot. I like to find one that has a good
    balance of both.

    Thanks Gary

Do you have access to Famous Dave's Sweet and Sassy? IMO it is the perfect balance.

I just buy mine (KC Original BBQ Sauce) out of the grocery store locally by the bottle so I don't have to order it by the case from here.

I like Sweet Bay Rays or Bob Gibsons. Rays you can purchase at most food chains. Gibsons you can order on line.

Here's the one I tried, It's good. The 2nd time I made it, I added a tbl of
red pepper flake to give more heat. Was not a good idea.

    1/2 cup butter
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 1/2 cup ketchup
    1 cup vegetable oil
    1/4 cup sugar
    1/4 worcestershire sauce
    1/4 cup lemon juice
    2 teaspoons tabasco
    1/2 teaspoon dry mustard

Heat butter, onions & garlic 5 minutes over medium heat. Add remaining
ingredients, bring to low boil. Reduce heat to low, simmer 20 minutes.
