Naw --- the wife wanted a good excuse to buy front loaders. they use less water

Wound up buying a new washing machine....old one goes to grandson...still works...after lots of research we got a Speedqueen.....only machine made in USA....commercial quality...long warrenty......

Guaranty not all parts in speed queen made in America. Hardly anything with electronics is all American. Ours are Maytags.

All whirlpool stuff at my house....rough and tough and last a long time....easy to work on....can get parts local without having to order.

Anything but GE. Had one of their fridges years ago and the compressor went out after not a lot of time, maybe 7 years. Repair man said to call them, there was a recall on the part. When I called they told me I was two months too late and wouldn't fix it even though they never notified me of a recall. I told them I would never buy anything GE again and would spread the word about their company. Here it is years later and I'm still spreading the word. Take that GE

That is what makes the Speedqueen so good....none of that electronics stuff.....all mechanical like our 38 year old Kenmore...SQ only mfr that does that.....every salesperson that we talked to guaranteed us that on all brands (except Speedqueen) the motherboard would crash within 1-5 years.....what put us on to the Speedqueen was the Appliance repair store I went to for parts on the old Kenmore....SQ advertises machine good for 25 years washing 8 loads a week.....no foreign parts here.....
