Thread: February Social

At Lake Jordan.

The dates that I can be there are Feb 1,14,15, and 28

i voted, but i really cant say for sure if ill be able to attend

also lots of wives- g/f's would whoop ones azz if they went feeeeshin on Feb 14th just an FYI lol

Just a heads up for you guys that are not regular Jordan fishermen. The earlier we go, the better chance the fish will still be around the deep water areas where they are now. I have seen them disappear overnight in late Feb. If nothing changes between now and the social, I can probably put everyone on some fish.

Any date so far is good for me so long as it is not the 14th, or 15th.

I agree on the earlier the better as far as finding the fish in a predictable location.

I just joined 1-14-09 and do not know the language yet and would like to know what is meant by a social. Also does anyone know were there is a list of special meanings of words pertaining to Crappie fishing is?

A social is just a predetermined time and place where all that can meet up and fish (at your own spot or some helping others find fish) and usually we meet back up at a predetermined time to clean fish and eat them. Usually everyone brings something to add to the "feast" as far as sides, drinks, paper products, ice, etc.
As far as terms go, I can't help ya much there other than if you start a new thread and list the "terms" you are wondering about we'll be glad to define them as best we can.
