    Default Sonar - MIL

I marked what appeared to be a school of baitfish in 7-12 feet of water about 200' from shore outside of the hot water discharge as well as under the 16 bridge in 30' of water fish/bait suspended at 15' by pylons. I don't have much experience with sonar so I was wondering if that sounded right to anyone that knows the lake. Also, would a school of fish just sit there while you motor over them?

    Thanks

They are used to hearing motors under a bridge and not likely spooked 15 feet down
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Yep, appears you marked bait fish. Big balls or elongated ovals on the screen usually indicate bait fish. The sonar returns (receiver) are slower than your boat speed so traveling over bait fish is common depiction on the screen.
