    Default High Rock 1/03

No monsters, but two of us did fairly well for the amount of time we fished yesterday. We had 18 keepers (9" -11"). Caught all of them on brush piles and laydowns using minnows. We started fishing about 10am after sinking a couple of brush piles in deep water near a hump. Picked up a few here and there as the day went on. Then at one place, my buddy trying to erase a waypoint on his high tech Humminbird gps/depthfinder, deleted ALL of his waypoints. The four lettered words were a flying. We spent the rest of the day finding our spots on my hand held while he re-entered them on his gps. I didn't enter the two brush piles we put out that morning on mine, so we'll have to do some searching later on. Otherwise it was a beautiful day on the water.

Glad to hear you got into some. Better than I did. I may have to try it again this afternoon though. Never give up.

Glad y'all managed to catch some without me along for guidance & inspiration. :D Tell Kolton I am ready for a re-match & I'm not going to hold back this time.
