badin lockjawed stripers
if you caught stripers at badin today jan. 1 i woud like to shake your hand and take a lesson or two. it was some kinda tough, marked tons of fish some huge archs and schools of them, i had one slam a rod with a six inch sassy shad, rip drag when i got the rod out of the holder it went slack??? caught 6 big crappie on a 3/4 ounce rattle trap i was trolling, i don't know what they thought they were doing there is no way they could have ate that thing. talked to several guys that weren't catching any either. was it just a bad day or did somebody out there put the pieces together. water was muddy and 47 degrees.

badin
If the water in front of Old Whitney gets muddy, then you have to move down to find clearer water. They will stay just ahead of the muddy water at Badin. That muddy water is cold too though. They will be in warm clear water. Over by the islands, would have been my bet if Old Whitney is muddy. I'll be there tomorrow and sore lip a few of them for you.
