Thread: back to badin

went back to badin monday. boy was bait hard to find ! threw for over and hour and just a half dozen herring to show for it. turned out to be enough though as we went up river and caught a few cats. mostly small again, i dont know where the good ones went. my friend got one 11lbs. its his biggest cat to date. im pround of him. wound up with 20. took 7 home for the pot. caught em up river, and down around the landing. im stumpped as to where the keepers went..... anybody know? ....rookie?

There should be a handful of nice ones up river, but I think most are on deep main lake ledges. I got nine in an hour the other day, but they were all under ten pounds. I've been getting bait pretty easy from the landing all the way to Garr Creek in the main channel. Keep at it, you'll get 'em.
