Question High Rock for Crappie tommorrow ?

Going to hit The Rock tommorrow for a much needed fishing excursion. With 2 new grandchildren, a girl on Oct 24th and a boy on Dec 19th, and the holidays I haven't had time to fish. What is the bite like at High Rock now and is the pattern predictible for this time of year? Will probably launch the Skiff at Flat swamp in the early AM. Help please.

Hey Kellog. Congratulations on the births of the two grandchildren! I don't know about down your way, but they are forecasting high winds here tomorrow (20-30mph with gusts possibly reaching 40 mph). Good luck and be careful. I hope you catch a lot.

Hey Chugbug, I just saw the weather for tommorrow. Calling for 10 to 17 MPH winds from the NW and sunny here. Maybe I can get lucky and find a good spot out of the wind. Even if I don't catch a lot of fish it will be great just getting out there.

I hear you Kellog. 10-17 MPH does not sound too bad. Anyway, good luck and tightlines. I am looking forward to your report tomorrow.

After looking at the tree tops swaying as they were around the house I decided I would be better off staying off the lake. Not much to talk about on the deer hunting side. Did put a couple big Does in the freezer though. I see from your reports that your family had a good season.
