Thread: Norman 12-30 1/2 day

back to reality!!.........

hit norman again roughly 11:30, and hit a few quick spots to see where i marked fish.....never did mark any big schools anywhere from littles all the way up to the HH.....set up around the best marks i found, and within 15 minutes hooked up and landed yet another Norman Hawg! 8 lbs 2 oz on my digital scale. in hopes of either myself or my buddy catching him on January 17th, i set her free :D and that was practically all she wrote for the day! covered approx 3 miles trolling today with not much action! had a few pull downs, and landed a nice perch eventually. just before dark, i doubled up and landed a pair of fat 20's....

cant wear em out every day. the fish definatly moved somewhere with the wind shift...i am now thinking uplake

Go get em, pete! I am in a beach house here at the OBX typing this. Only caught 2 dogfish today!

Pete i know what/or who was missin,,lol...not sure about up there but crossed mt island and it was slick as glass at 1700...those last couple fish of the day always helps the cause...

I just heard today that things are starting to happen up in Rocky Creek and State Park area. That's your stomping grounds so go on up there and get on 'em. I can't seem to pry myself away from the yadkin to get on them Catawba fish. It's about the same distance for me so I think I'll take the chance at a good one.

thats bout what i heard to...hate it when the move quick like that....just startin to get used to 1 pattern then they change it up on ya.....thats Norman for ya

What Pete didn't tell you, is that he pulled up his lines early, to help a moron like me, who tried to troubleshoot is trim not working and eventually disconnected something that wouldn't let his engine even try to turnover. Hopefully, will get that fixed tomorrow, THANKS AGAIN FOR THE TOW PETE!
