Thread: Badin 12/27-12/28

fished with my boys all weekend!! put two stripers in the boat yestrday and that was it. today I got nine blues and 11 stripers. blues on cutbait. stripers on threadfins and spoons. saw the biggest mess of schooling fish I'v ever seen at dusk and layed it to 'em. pardoned all the fish and let them swim because I did not feel like cleaning fish tonight and my freezer is full of crappie, striper and deer meat. no need in taking more than I need. biggest blue was nine pounds. all stripers were 5-7 lb. had one nice lue on, but wrapped me in a bruspile under the boat. fun day with my boys. I got some video footage if I can figure out how to get it on here.

Nice job Rookie. I hope that you can load the video. I would like to see some hot fishing action. I hope to make it out somewhere this week. Good luck if you go again this week.

i'll be there in the morning, wish me luck, i'll need it, first time taking ol' trusty out since mid oct.

Rookie I was there yesterday in Badin I just got one striper 22''. This is my second day of striper fishing. If you see a hydra sport 23 series thats me. I'm new here on crappie.com I fish in High Rock for crappie. These are the only two lakes I have been to. I have not had my boat long and am still learning how to fish and use my boat. Any fishing tips are appreciated. Thanks ...

I'm trying to find the cord that hooks to the computer so I can upload the video. I think I can get it on photobucket if i can find the cord. I've never tried it before, and now that I want to, I can't find the cord. I live in K-town and if anybody wants to join me in my boat or their's, whatever it doesn't matter, just give me a holler. I'm usually out there every week or so chasing cats or stripers. probably stripers for the next little it unless I hear that the blues are tearing it up somewhere. That was a fun day!!
