Default Norman 12/27 Striper 3 limits

Fished Norman on 12/27 and put in at little creek. Was alot of boats at the back of little creek working a small area so we decided to go where there was not so much boat traffic. Ended up picking up a few smaller stripers. We then came back to little creek but stayed out in the mouth but most boats had left the area. We ended up catching 3 catfish over 10 pounds in Little Creek this was not what we were looking for so we moved to a spot very close to little creek that always seems to produce. At 2:30 we hit a nice school of stripers in the 22 to 24 inch range. We ended up cathching 12 stripers 2 large mouth 1 white perch about 2 pounds and 3 catfish over 10 pounds. All fish were caught on trout and shiners in 55ft of water fishing 35 to 45 ft deep. The stripers seemed to like the shiners better than the trout. I think that alot of the trout are just a little to big for the class of fish in Norman. Alot of the trout that I got at better baits were on the larger side. Godd luck to everyone 32Racer

We found the Stripers schooled up in the mouth of a creek very close to Little Creek. The stripers were schooled up around some bait balls. They stayed in the same general area but after we stayed on them for about an hour and a half they moved out. It looked like the dead sea when they were gone. The fish were all in 55ft of water and were caught from 35 to 45 ft deep. Good Luck. 32RACER
