Alright...got my badge and gun from City Council last night...working on computer issues in the office today...they better have a plan to fix these computers after I am gone...gonna have a retirement luncheon tomorrow...laying out of work Friday since its my last day. All in all...its happening.

thanks guys...its a mixed bag of emotions...leaving the only job I know how to do and the only one I've done for nearly 33 years. Its scary in a way leaving the stability of being employed, to join the ranks of crappie.com legends like SC Rango. I have a good retirement plan...and I look forward to next week when my biggest decision will be where to go, High Rock, Tuckertown or Badin instead of managing a 3 million dollar budget along with a group of generation Y police officers.
