Thread: Norman 10-26

Went to Norman yesterday to troll some artificials for stripers. First time on Norman since Feb. Fog was bad till 9 o'clock. Caught 2 small ones in stumpy creek. Went up river when fog cleared, but stripers were done. I got 2 pull downs after that, but no hookups. Boat loaded on trailer at 12:30. Finally ended up with 2 undersize stripers, 1 crappie and one spotted bass, all released. Not what I was looking for. At least my electrical repairs were sucessful and I finally got to GO FISHING! I think live bait would be better until they pick up in a couple weeks with cooling water temps. Wish that I had more to offer.

how far up stumpy did u go?

I was in the vicinity of the boat ramp. Fog was so thick that i couldn't see for sure. I was trying to get up river ASAP, so I stayed close to the main river. Sorry it took so long to respond, as I just got finished with jury duty. And yes, I was selected and got to go through the legal process as a juror!
