Don't laugh when you see me on Jordan Lake tomorrow with a rain coat on getting blown all over the place while bailing water and cussing up a storm. I have to go fishing despite the foul weather tomorrow. Anyone else fishing? I should be at Farrington Point bright and early, poncho in hand. Good luck to all who will be getting rained on and blown around.
No one who sees you on Jordan Lake tomorrow can logically laugh at you...they'll be laughing with you!
I wasn't born here, but I got here as fast as I could
can't laugh at you wc. i look like a drown rat after today. good luck.
Whompus I plan on launching at the Farrington point myself in the AM. I am aiming for fist light, depending on when I can buy minnows. Do you know what time the Gas stations open up there at rt 64?
I'll just be thinking all day that quote from the movie Caddyshack: "Don't worry! The bad stuff wont be down for a while yet" :S

I am almost positive the exxon on 64/farrington opens up before daylight, probably around 5:30-6. I actually just looked in my minner bucket and have some alive from two weeks ago! I should be there by 7 unless its just down right nasty.
Good Point Crataegus!
Fishing was tough for me this morning... I thought about taking the minnows I had but at the last minute I forgot about them. For the first hour the wind wasn't too bad and I was able to get a few fish in the boat. By 10:00 the wind was just too much to troll the jigs. I did have the pleasure to meet Redboat out there and it looked as if he was doing pretty good with the minners. Every time I looked his way he was netting a fish! I started to go pick up some minnows but opted to go scout for some ducks. Couldn't get in the swamp cause the water was so low. Now I've got to go pick up a new battery cause the one I have is about shot. Hope you slayed them Redboat and it was nice to meet you.
Whompus it was good meeting you too! I got to the ramp about 6:45 and waited about 1/2 hour for enough light to get going.. Ended up talking to someone there for quite a while but didn't catch his name... I ended up with 10 solid keepers and picked up about 12:30 when I looked up and saw what looked like a fog rolling in... It was not fog, it was a downpour! :S. Below are the 10 fish I took home. I'd say 5 came on minnows the other five on jigs, Chartruce and Orange early then Johndeer Green later in the morning.
