    Default High Rock 10/19/08

The wind was worse today than yesterday. I couldn't find a hole out of the wind. Managed to sneak 20 in the boat. The fish didn't won't nothing to do with my lure unless it was 1.5'' long with an 1/16 oz head. That was a tough lure to fish today in this wind. Lure 20 feet from you and 50 yards of line out. Steady bite around 14'-16' deep on the bottom around brush. Maybe tomorrow.
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

This W/E reminded me of when crap-king and myself started fishing together. One day the wind got down to 10mph and thought it sure was calm to be fishing together.

    Default The rock

I went out Sun. and attempted to striper fish. Couldn't find 'em. looked from Flat Swamp to Crane Creek. Trolled in Crane Creek and picked up a couple of throwback crappie. Tried some mainlake stuff, but the wind was too bad. Finished the day off in 2nd Creek cussing the wing the whole time. managed 6 keeper crappie and a couple channel cats. maybe next time
