Thread: Badin cats/stripers

Fished Badin Fri. night and Sat. morning. landed somewhere around 30 cats. biggest was a blue in the mid teens. put six stripers in the boat this morning too. bigget was 9 lb. along with about 35 jumbo perch, all about 12-14" and weighing around a pound or a little more. had a good time anyway. hardly anybody on the water this morning. Who all killed a deer today? I bet there was some flying arrows this morning. stripers and perh came off spoon, cats on cut bait drifting. It's about that time.

i killed bambi with the patrol car on the Blvd last night....does that count?? :D

I've been fishing, but this summer has been slow for me. Big flathead season is here. I marked some on one of my favorite holes, but too many spies out there to set up on it. I'll be after 'em here shortly. lots of fish this summer, just not too many over 20 lb. It's on now though!!

so sounds like the cats are biting on badin huh? ill be back in the states next week and ill probably get down there that weekend.
