Thread: Tuesday report from Highrock

alright guys here goes, put in around 7am, threw the net a few times to get some shad, and headed for open water. Man !! it was tough starting out, had to really search to find the bigger fish. i think this front may have them scattered a bit. still seemed to find fish in and around 12 - 17 ft. we were tightlining double rigs , shad or minnow and jig combo. jigs did pretty well too,by the way. moved around a good bit,not really trying to find fish because there were 7 - 8 in. fish everywhere, but we were trying to find the big slabs,you know the 13- 15 in. fish. o.k. i'll start winding it down. finished up around 2 pm. ended up clicking around 55 on the counter. only 32 were real nice ones. got on some very nice white bass and a few perch,that was fun. at one time had 3 rods in the boat with double hook-ups. threw all fish back so we could catch them at the social ( hope its at highrock ) . did take a few pics , oh, by the way, C-MORE did catch big fish today, a whopping 14 incher. I had him beat for most of the day with a 13in. al fish throwed back were mostly between 10-11 1/2 in.

Listen, I'm Heading To The Big Pond For A Week, So If Yer Gonna Fish The Town, Could Ya Do It Next Week So Them Rascals Can Recover. Congrats On The Big One There C-more. Nice Bait Tank Guys. If Ya'll Are Going To Fish The Social, We Are Just Going To Show Up To Eat. I Figure There Will Be Plenty Of Meat. "keeping It Simple"
