Thread: A little better.

Went to High Rock this morning with high hopes, didn't last long. I was launching the boat and stepped on one of the runners, apparently it didn't want my fat$$$ on it so it dumped me into the water, wet to the butt. Caught 15 crappie, no thugs, no green carp and no white perch. They were still 12'-14'deep on the brush 15'-18'. Water started out 77* and warmed to 82* All caught on jigs.

rather that happen now than in the colder months :D

Sounds like you had a good day to me. The getting wet thing must be a trend.
Last week when I went, I launched from a different ramp. When I went to trailer the boat, I slid on the algae impregnated ramp...landed square on my arse in about 6" of water. It hurt, but not as much as it would have if the ramp had been busy. LOL

should have said [HAVE YOU]been leaving the minnows at home i would be lost without my minnows
