Thread: Norman 9-7

got set up at my favorite Norman hidaway a hair after dark. bite started slow wiht a perch here and there, right when the bite started picking up i got a rude phone call from my supervisor......tellin me i need to show up before grand jury at 9:30am sharp

anyways called it quits earlier than usual at about 10:30.....final tally was approx 12 perch with a few nice "netter" size pushing 1 lb, tons of small cats all released, 1 suicide 14" striper, and 6 crappie....BUT 3 of the crappie were at or very near the 2 lb mark! and the others were 1 1/2+ had a nice class of fish around, just had to pack it in early.....there will be better days soon :D

thanks for the report Pete....but yes Grand Jury at the most inappropriate times is part of it as you well know.

Congrats on the catches...but sorry you had to call it quits so early. How often do you hit Norman?

i will be fishing norman pretty regular starting in about a month....as much as time allows

Keep us posted too on the striper movement. Last at the dam two wees ago and nothing there. Nice catch on the WP. I have thought about trying for them on Wylie. Stripers have moved out of Murray dam area too. Be hard to find them till it gets a bit colder.

I know all about the Grand Jury, I had to serve on one for one year! One day every month for a year, Now that sucked! Very few poeple get to serve on a Grand Jury,.... Or that's what they keep telling me.
