Well Folks--
the water All around Jordon is high--up the ramps--banks are over flowing
The small boat ramp at Farrington is under water -The beach is under water and meets up to the rope next to the small boat ramp--You will have to launch on the other side next to the walk out pier.
BG2 how was ebeneezer?
Thanks for the report, Jasmine. I thought briefly about trying it tonight and just didn't get it together and go.
Might do it tomarrow night.
"Be Ye Fishers of Men" You catch them- He will clean them
Just Heard On The News That Jordan Is Six Ft. Over Full Pool. Can This Be Right? They Said The Same About Falls.
simpl, anchor, went to the lake last nite and i beleive someone is not telling the truth!seems to me that the lake is about to turn into an ocean!6 or more ft is correct.if you try and put in at ebenezer, you only hav to back up at the top of the ramp an let you boat go. there is only room on the ramp for just you trailor. went to bells an water was all the way in the parking lot at the pier. farrington boatramps are almost to the top and the small bt ramp at farr is in the turnaround at the top of the ramp!be careful if you get on the water cause trash is everywhere!!!
GET IN, SIT DOWN, HOLD ON, AND BE VEWY VEWY QUITE!!!!!
Jordann is around 222.5 which is 6.5 ' above the guide curve at which they try to keep it. They will be increasing releases today or tomorrow and hope to have it back to around 217 by the beginning of next week depending on what amount of rain we get tonight/tomorrow.
AnchorPuller-
We had thought we would do some bank fishing or pier fishing and it was just to high to even try to attempt. I love it when it rains, but it can be scary when you want to bank fish. The water at Farrington was way up like Bg2 said, the floating pier there is straight out... water way up the ramp! Just have to be careful when unloading/loading your boats because of the water levels so high up the ramp. Just have an extra person to give you an extra hand because it feels like you are just unloading your boat at the top of the ramp. When you cross over the bridge heading to Farrington the little Island to the right is covered under water and you can see 1/2 the tree sticking out of the water.
There were a couble of boats out last night there at Farrington. I often wonder why they don't install some outdoor lights down there
