    Default High Rock 09/07/08

I have realized that I rely on my electronics too much. I could only squeeze out 6 crappie this morning. 4 were decent fish. Water was slightly stained and 77 degrees. All were caught on jigs on brush between 15'-18'
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Sometimes you just need to turn the electronics off and "Use The Force!"

Whew! Thought you were going to say you rely on CK too much and couldn't get one in the boat with him gone.

    I'm so relieved! :D

We didn't much better Nat.....we caught maybe 15 with 6 keepers, one decent white perch....one channel cat...and one bream. Mostly minnows for us...big fish was right on 12 inches.... but there were four of us fishing. We were keyed in between 10 and 13 feet on a little drop off, just drifted back and forth over it, most all the fish came from there.
