Today was rough at first the crappie moved from the main lake channel where I was catching them on the last couple of weeks. Eventually found them ; as windy as it was hard to stay on top of them, time to upgrade my trolling motor. Went through 8 doz minnows first time I didnt use all 10 doz. Kept 4 slabs and a monster bluegill for lunch tomorrow.
af ya gotta love that wind. my trolling motor battery was screaming monday by 11:30. nursed it the rest of the trip. nice going on the slabs. we had ours move on us as well. i like hunting them rascals. good job.
Whooo weee...bet those two put a bend in the rod, especially the bluegill. Where in the lake are you at Airborne...around Ebenezer? I usually fish Farrington but next trip is going to be Ebenezer or 64 bridge area...still trying to make up my mind. I've only been to Ebenezer once so I don't know that area at all.
Dunno why....
but my experience.....
Bigger fish= 64 bridge area
More fish= Ebeneezer bridge area

Thanks Anchorpuller...you're the expert I hear on that area. Two bridges down there aren't they (Ebenezer)? Is one any better than the other?
The Ebeneezer boat ramp only has the one bridge that I know of. The bridge is actually over Beaver Creek Road. There is a causeway across Pea Ridge Rd, but no bridge.
I just read where several parks are going to be closed for repair, Ebeneezer isn't on the list though.
Here is a couple of links that might be of help.

Ole,
I was fishing by the 64 bridge. Anchorpuller is definately right bigger fish in the 64 area and more fish in Beaver Creek.
Yep had some great fun fishing 64 bridge area last winter out of seaforth landing. Ebenezer area I've only been to once and that was middle of last summer. Anywho...thanks for the info. I didn't get to go this past weekend but unless something bad happens I'll be up there this Friday evening/night.
The website anchorpuller led me to said seaforth is closed sept 8 thru oct something...wonder if they will have the landing closed also or just the campground?
