Talked The Better Half Into A Quick Trip Before The Rain. While I Was Explaining The Proper Jig Technique, She Puts A 12" Fish In The Boat And Now Shes' Telling Me Where They Are. I Moved To A Creek That Had Some Deep Brush And After Setting Up On It She Proceeds To Land A 13 And A Beautiful 141/2". I'm Not That Good Of A Teacher. Anyway We Were In A Yadkin Chain Lake. Water Was Stained. Caught A Few Bucks That Still Had Their Spawning Colors But No Females Appeared To Have Eggs. Most Fish Were Caught On Pepper/chartruese 1" Tube Jigs. Water Depth Was 20 Feet. We Caught Some Shallow But They Were Scattered And Slow. I Was So Busy Taking Her Fish Off, I Didn't Even Check The Water Temp. "keepng It Simple" Good To See Ya 1mac38!
